पास्का का छठवाँ सप्ताह

📒 पहला पाठ : प्रेरित-चरित 16:11-15

11) त्रोआस से चल कर हम नाव पर सीधे समाथ्राके, दूसरे दिन नेआपोलिस

12) और वहाँ से फिलिप्पी पहुँचे। फिलिप्पी मकेदूनिया प्रान्त का मुख्य नगर और रोमन उपनिवेश है। हम कुछ दिन वहाँ रहे।

13) विश्राम के दिन हम यह समझ कर शहर के बाहर नदी के तट आये कि वहाँ कोई प्रार्थनागृह होगा। हम बैठ गये और वहाँ एकत्र स्त्रियों से बातचीत करते रहे।

14) सुनने वाली महिलाओं में एक का नाम लुदिया था और वह थुआतिरा नगर की रहने वाली थी। वह बैंगनी कपड़ों का व्यापार करती और ईश्वर पर श्रद्धा रखती थी। प्रभु ने उसके हृदय का द्वार खोल दिया और उसने पौलुस की शिक्षा स्वीकार कर ली।

15) सपरिवार बपतिस्मा ग्रहण करने के बाद लुदिया ने हम से यह अनुरोध किया, ’’आप लोगों ने माना है कि मैं सचमुच प्रभु में विश्वास करती हूँ, तो आइए, मेरे यहाँ ठहरिए’’। और उसने इसके लिए बहुत आग्रह किया।

📙 सुसमाचार : योहन 15:26-16:4

15:26) जब वह सहायक, पिता के यहाँ से आने वाला वह सत्य का आत्मा आयेगा, जिसे मैं पिता के यहाँ से तुम लोगो के पास भेजूगाँ तो वह मेरे विषय में साक्ष्य देगा।

27) और तुम लोग भी साक्ष्य दोगे, क्योंकि तुम प्रारंभ से मेरे साथ रहे हो।

16:1) मैंने तुम लोगो से यह इसीलिये कहा है कि तुम विचलित नहीं हो।

2) वे तुम्हें सभागृहों से निकाल देंगे। इतना ही नहीं, वह समय आ रहा है, जब तुम्हारी हत्या करने वाला यह समझेगा कि वह ईश्वर की सेवा कर रहा है।

3) वे यह सब इसीलिये करेंगे कि उन्होंने न तो पिता को पहचाना है और न मुझ को।

4) मैंने तुम लोगों से यह इसलिये कहा है कि समय आने पर तुम्हें यह स्मरण रहे कि मैंने तुम्हें पहले ही सचेत किया था।

📚 मनन-चिंतन

आज का सुसमाचार मसीहियों को मसीही जीवन जीने के सहायतार्थ पवित्र आत्मा भेजे जाने पर केन्द्रित है। पवित्र आत्मा शिष्यों को प्रभु येसु के बारे में गवाही प्रदान करेगा, जो उनके मिशन और शिक्षाओं को पूरा करने में उनके दृढ़ विश्वास और साहस को मजबूत करेगा। पवित्र आत्मा के मार्गदर्शन के माध्यम से, शिष्यों को विरोधियों और उत्पीड़कों के सामने भी मसीह की गवाही देने के लिए सशक्त बनाया जाएगा। प्रभु येसु की गवाही देने का मिशन हमेशा एक दिव्य-मानवीय सहयोग रहा है।

जब येसु घोषणा करते हैं, तो पवित्र आत्मा उनके सुनने वालों को उनके बारे में आंतरिक दृढ़ विश्वास देता है। संत पौलुस हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि कोई पवित्र आत्मा की प्रेरणा के बिना यह नहीं कह सकता, ‘येसु ही प्रभु है।’(1 कुरिन्थियों 12:3) याने यह केवल पवित्र आत्मा के माध्यम से ही संभव है कि कोई येसु को प्रभु के रूप में स्वीकार कर सकता है। प्यारे साथियों आइये पवित्र आत्मा की अगुवाई में हम मजबूती से प्रभु येसु में अपने विश्वास के गवाह बनें।

📚 REFLECTION

The Gospel text for today focuses on Jesus’ teaching on the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete, which emphasizes the role of the Holy Spirit in bearing witness about Jesus. The Holy Spirit will provide testimony about Jesus to the disciples, which will strengthen their conviction and courage in carrying out His mission and teachings. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the disciples will be empowered to bear witness to Jesus, even in the face of opponents and persecutors.

The mission of witnessing Jesus has always been a divine-human collaboration. When Jesus is proclaimed, the Spirit gives listeners the inner conviction about Him. Saint Paul reminds us that it is only through the Holy Spirit that one can confess Jesus as Lord (1 Cor 12:3).

📚 मनन-चिंतन-2

दुनिया में जाने कितने लोगों ने सत्य की राह पर चलते हुए अपने प्राण दे दिए। प्रभु येसु हमारे सहायक का परिचय देते हुए बताते हैं कि वह आत्मा पिता से आता है और वह सत्य का आत्मा है। वह प्रभु येसु का साक्ष्य देगा और उनकी बातों को प्रमाणित करेगा। जो उस आत्मा को ग्रहण करेगा उसकी भी जिम्मेदारी होगी कि वह सत्य का साक्ष्य दे। प्रभु येसु ही स्वयं वह सत्य हैं जिनका हमें साक्ष्य देना है। सत्यपथ के दुश्मन और विरोधी सदा से चले आए हैं। जो सत्य को नहीं जानते वे ही सत्य के साक्षियों के दुश्मन बन जाते हैं। आज जब हम अपने चारों ओर देखते हैं, पीछे मुड़कर इतिहास को देखते हैं, तो हम पाते हैं कि सदा से ही सत्य का गला दबाने की कोशिश होती आई है। जो व्यक्ति झूठ और बुराई का रास्ता त्यागकर सत्य का रास्ता अपनाता है, उसे कठिन से कठिन चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ता है। प्रभु येसु इस बात की चेतावनी दे दी थी। उन्होंने तो यहाँ तक कहा था कि सत्य के पथ पर चलने वाले व्यक्ति को सताने और प्रताड़ित करने वाले लोग यह सोचेंगे कि वे अच्छा कार्य कर रहे हैं, ईश्वर का कार्य कर रहे हैं। फादर स्टैन स्वामी हमारे लिए सत्य पथ के योद्धा का एक उदाहरण हैं।

📚 REFLECTION

There are so many people who have sacrificed their lives in order to give witness to the truth. While introducing the spirit to us Jesus tells us that it is the spirit of truth and it comes from the father. The spirit will give witness to Jesus, and prove the words that Jesus spoke. Whoever receives this spirit of truth will also receive the responsibility of witnessing the truth. Jesus is the truth of whom we have to become the witnesses. There have always been the enemies and threat to the people who walk on the path of truth. Those who are ignorant of the truth, they become the enemies of the witnesses of truth. When we look around us and when we look behind in the history we find that there have been always attempts to silence and bury the truth. The person who leaves and gives up the way of evil and lies and tries to walk on the path of truth, that person has to face so many difficulties and challenges. Jesus had already warned about this. He even told that those people who persecute the people who are walking on the path of truth , they will think that by persecuting them they are doing the work of God. Father Stan Swamy is an example for us as a warrior for truth.

📚 मनन-चिंतन- 3

अच्छी दोस्ती का उपहार हमारे जीवन में एक आशीर्वाद है। दोस्त हो तो,समय के साथ, हम जीवन के उतार-चढ़ाव को एक साथ अनुभव करते हैं और साझा करते हैं, अच्छे और बुरे, हर्षित और दुखी। लेकिन अच्छे दोस्त बनाना पड़ता है । दोस्ती और रिश्ते अपने स्वभाव से ही स्वतंत्र, ईमानदार और पारस्परिक होने चाहिए, और विश्वास अभिन्न अंग है। आज के सुसमाचार में, यीशु शिष्यों के साथ अपनी मित्रता और उनके साझा अनुभव को स्वीकार करते हैं। जो कुछ शिष्यों ने देखा है, यीशु को भरोसा है कि वे उनकी 'साक्ष्य' दे सकते हैं कि वह कौन है, क्योंकि वे शुरू से ही उसके साथ रहे हैं। शिष्य ईमानदारी से गवाही दे सकते हैं कि उन्होंने क्या अनुभव किया है और देखा है - उन्होंने जो चमत्कार किए हैं, उनके द्वारा साझा किए गए ज्ञान के शब्द, प्रेम और दया का उन्होंने प्रदर्शन किया है। यीशु हम में से प्रत्येक को हमारे दैनिक जीवन में अपनी उपस्थिति की गवाही देने के लिए हमारे द्वारा चुने गए विकल्पों और हमारे शब्दों और कार्यों के द्वारा भी सौंपा है।

📚 REFLECTION

Coming of the Advocate and the World’s Hatred

In today’s gospel Jesus says that His major witnesses are the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete or the Advocate and each one of us. The responsibility is given to us now by Jesus to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about His saving words and loving works but of course with the help of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit testifies to Christ because He continues the work of Christ and bears witness to Him. The Holy Spirit enlightens us on the truth of Christ’s message and the reality of His person.

We testify to Christ because we encounter Him first in our faith. And we cannot bear witness to Jesus if we do not know Him personally. Christ is experienced in prayer and in sacraments. The strength of our witness depends on the depth of our own personal convictions. Only if we live and reflect faithfully Christ’s Gospel can we effectively testify to Him.

This witnessing of ours is a day-to-day dedication we give as loyal Christians, the way we work, pray and play. But of course the Holy Spirit is with us in making witness to Jesus. In others words, we are not alone in doing it, the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete, the Consoler is always with us and helps us.

At the end let us reflect these words on witnessing coming from John White. He said: “A good witness isn’t like a salesman the emphasis is on a person rather than a product. A good witness is like a signpost. It doesn’t matter whether it is old, young, pretty, ugly; it has to point the right direction and be able to be understood. We are witnesses to Christ, we point to him.”

📚 मनन-चिंतन -4

प्रभु येसु ने इस संसार से जाने से पूर्व अपने शिष्यों को एक सहायक भेजने की प्रतीज्ञा की थी। वह सहायक कोई ओर नहीं परंतु पवित्र आत्मा है, सत्य का आत्मा जो प्रभु येसु के विषय में साक्ष्य देता है।

पवित्र आत्मा हम सभी के लिए एक सहायक के रूप में दिया गया है परंतु हममें से अधिकतर लोग उस सहायक को अपने जीवन में कार्य करने नहीं देते इस कारण हम येसु को पहचान नहीं पाते और उनको अपने जीवन में साक्ष्य नहीं दे पाते। पवित्र आत्मा उतरने से पूर्व शिष्य डरें हुए थे, प्रभु के वचनों को सहीं तरह से नहीं समझ पाते थे, पवित्र आत्मा के आगमन के बाद हीं शिष्यों ने प्रभु की कहीं हुई हर बात को समझा तथा निडरता पूर्वक येसु का साक्ष्य लोंगों के सामने प्रकट किया।

आज के युग में कलीसिया हर प्रकार से सम्पन्न है परंतु कमी है तो सिर्फ पवित्र आत्मा को कार्यांवित करने की। आईये हम ईश्वर से प्रार्थना करें कि जो पवित्र आत्मा का वरदान हमने दृढकरण संस्कार द्वारा ग्रहण किया है हम उनको पूर्ण रीति से समझें और पवित्र आत्मा को अपने जीवन में कार्य करने दें। आमेन!

📚 REFLECTION

Before leaving, Jesus assured the disciples of sending the helper to them. That helper is none other but Holy Spirit himself, the Spirit of truth who witnesses Lord Jesus.

We have received the Holy Spirit as a helper but many of us do not allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives that is the reason we do not recognize Jesus and couldn’t be able to give his witness through our lives. Before descending of the Holy Spirit the disciples were afraid, were not able to understand Jesus’ words fully; it is after the coming of the Holy Spirit the disciples understood the meaning of every word spoken by Jesus and gave the witness of Jesus with boldness.

In present time the Church is affluent with many things but only thing which she lacks is allowing the Holy Spirit to work. Let’s pray to the Lord the gift of Holy Spirit which we received during the time of Sacrament of Confirmation, we may understand the mystery of it in fuller sense and allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. Amen!
