पास्का का छठवाँ सप्ताह

📒 पहला पाठ : प्रेरित-चरित 18:23-28

23) पौलुस कुछ समय वहाँ रहा। तब फिर विदा हो कर उसने गलातिया और इसके बाद फ्रुगिया का भ्रमण करते हुए सब शिष्यों को ढारस बँधाया।

24) उस समय अपोल्लोस नामक यहूदी एफेसुस पहुँचा। उसका जन्म सिकन्दरिया में हुआ था। वह शक्तिशाली वक्ता और धर्मग्रन्थ का पण्डित था।

25) उसे प्रभु के मार्ग की शिक्षा मिली थी। वह उत्साह के साथा बोलता और ईसा के विषय में सही बातें सिखलाता था, यद्यपि वह केवल योहन के बपतिस्मा से परिचित था।

26) वह सभागृह में निस्संकोच बोलने लगा। प्रिसिल्ला और आक्विला उसकी शिक्षा सुनने के बाद उसे अपने साथ ले गये और उन्होंने अधिक विस्तार के साथ उसे ईश्वर का मार्ग समझाया।

27) जब अपोल्लोस ने अखै़या जाना चाहा, तो भाइयों ने उसकी सहायता की और शिष्यों के नाम पत्र दे कर निवेदन किया कि वे उसका स्वागत करें। अपोल्लोस के वहाँ पहुंचने के बाद उस से विश्वासियों को ईश्वर की कृपा से बहुत लाभ हुआ;

28) क्योंकि वह अकाट्य तर्कों से यहूदियों का खण्ड़न करता और सब के सामने धर्मग्रन्थ के आधार पर यह प्रमाणित करता था ही ईसा ही मसीह हैं।

📙 सुसमाचार : योहन 16:23ब-28

23) मैं तुम लोगों से यह कहता हूँ- तुम पिता से जो कुछ माँगोगे वह तुम्हें मेरे नाम पर वही प्रदान करेगा।

24) अब तक तुमने मेरा नाम ले कर कुछ भी नहीं माँगा है। माँगो और तुम्हें मिल जायेगा, जिससे तुम्हारा आनन्द परिपूर्ण हो।

25) मैंने तुम लोगो से यह सब दृष्टांतो में कहा है। वह समय आ रहा है, जब मैं फिर तुम लेागों से दृष्टांतो में कुछ नहीं कहूँगा, बल्कि तुम्हें स्पष्ट शब्दों में पिता के विषय में बताऊँगा।

26) तुम उस दिन मेरा नाम लेकर प्रार्थना करोग। मैं नहीं कहता कि तुम्हारे लिये पिता से प्रार्थना करूँगा।

27) पिता तो स्वयं तुम्हें प्यार करता है, क्योंकि तुम मुझे प्यार करते और यह विश्वास करते हो कि मैं ईश्वर के यहाँ से आया हूँ।

28) मैं पिता के यहाँ से संसार में आया हूँ। अब मैं संसार को छोड कर पिता के पास जा रहा हूँ।’’

📚 मनन-चिंतन

आज के सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु कहते हैं- तुम पिता से जो कुछ मांगोगे वह तुम्हें मेरे नाम पर वही प्रदान करेगा। पर हमारा अनुभव हमें यह बताता है कि कभी-कभी हमारी प्रार्थनाओं का इस तरह से स्पष्ट उत्तर नहीं मिलता। ऐसे क्षणों में, हम इब्रानियों को लिखे पत्र 5:7 पर गौर करें - मसीह ने इस पृथ्वी पर रहते समय पुकार-पुकार कर और आँसू बहा कर ईश्वर से, जो उन्हें मृत्यु से बचा सकता था, प्रार्थना और अनुनय-विनय की। श्रद्धालुता के कारण उनकी प्रार्थना सुनी गयी। ईश्वर का पुत्र होने पर भी उन्होंने दुःख सह कर आज्ञापालन सीखा। जब येसु ने आँसूओं के साथ जिनके पास उन्हें मृत्यु से बचाने की शक्ति थी, प्रार्थना की, तो उनकी श्रद्धा व समर्पण के कारण उनकी प्रार्थना सुनी गई।

उनकी यह प्रार्थना गेथसेमनी में की गयी प्रार्थना की ओर इशारा करती है और उनकी यह प्रार्थना हमारी सभी मध्यस्थत प्रार्थनाओं के लिए आदर्श होनी है। जब हम प्रार्थना करते हैं, तो हमें स्वयं को प्रभु येसु की तरह ईश्वर के अधीन कर देना चाहिए जिनके पास हमें बचाने का सामर्थ्य है और ये भरोसा करना चाहिए कि पिता हमारी प्रार्थना का उत्तर उस तरीके से देगा जो हमारे लिए सबसे अच्छा है, भले ही हम इसे स्वयं न देख सकें। ईश्वर का शाश्वत प्रेम हमारी सीमित मानवीय दृष्टि से परे यह जानता है कि हमारे लिए सबसे अच्छा क्या है।

इब्रानियों 5:7 का दूसरा भाग प्रभु येसु के पुनरुत्थान की ओर इशारा करता है जब यह कहता है - श्रद्धालुता के कारण उनकी प्रार्थना सुनी गयी। इसलिए प्यारे भाइयों और बहनों हमारे सामने चाहे दुःख का पहाड़ भी टूट पड़े, या फिर हम समस्यों से घिर जाएँ हमें श्रद्धा पूर्वक अपने आप को और अपनी समस्यों और दुखों को प्रभु को समर्पित करते हुए प्रार्थना करना चाहिए। जिस पिता ने अश्रुपूरित प्रार्थनाओं के बावजूद भी अपने बेटे को सूली पर मरने दिया सिर्फ इसलिए की उनके पुनरुत्थान में उनकी पूर्ण महिमा प्रकट हो जाये, हमारे जीवन में भी यदि हमें क्रूस और कलवारी का सामना करना पड़ता है, तो हम ये जान लें कि पिता किसी बड़ी महिमा को हमारे जीवन में दिखाने के लिए हमें तैयार कर रहा है।

📚 REFLECTION

In today's Gospel, Jesus says, “Whatever you ask of the Father, He will give you in my name.” But experience tells us that sometimes asking and intercessory prayers are not answered in this way. At such moments, let us consider the letter to the Hebrews 5:7-8 “In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a Son, he learned obedience through what he suffered. This allusion to the agony of Jesus before his sufferings must be the model of all intercessory prayer: When we pray, we should submit ourselves to the Lord Jesus who has the power to save us and trust that the Father will answer our prayers in the way that is best for us, even if we cannot see it ourselves. God's eternal love transcends our limited human vision to know what is best for us.

The second part of Hebrews 5:7 refers to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus when it says – “His prayers were heard because of faithfulness.” Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, even if a mountain of sorrow breaks down before us, or we are surrounded by problems, we should pray to the Lord Jesus with reverence and dedicate ourselves and our problems and sorrows to the Lord. The Father who allowed His Son to die on the cross in spite of tearful prayers just so that His full glory might be revealed in His resurrection, even in our lives. If we encounter the cross and Calvary, we know that the Father is preparing us to show some great glory in our lives.

आज का सुसमाचार हमें एक विदाई संदेश जैसा प्रतीत होता है। जब कोई किसी से बिछड़ता है तो उसे सांत्वना देता है कि हम मिलते रहेंगे या संदेश भेजते रहेंगे, संपर्क में रहेंगे, ताकि एक दूसरे को भूल न सकें। प्रभु येसु अपने पुनरुत्थान के बाद शिष्यों को दर्शन देकर हिम्मत बँधाते रहे। उन्हें अपनी बताई हुई बातों में दृढ़ करते रहे, रहस्यों को स्पष्ट करते रहे। लेकिन अब वह स्वर्ग चढ़ने वाले थे, अपने पिता के पास जाने वाले थे, और इसलिए वह हमेशा संपर्क बनाए रखने का सूत्र या मंत्र हमें प्रदान करते हैं, और मंत्र है प्रभु के नाम में प्रार्थना करना। भले ही प्रभु येसु शिष्यों से जुदा हो रहे थे, लेकिन प्रार्थना के द्वारा शिष्य लोग प्रभु से सदा जुड़े रह सकते थे। प्रभु के नाम पर वे जो भी पिता से माँगते, पिता उन्हें वही प्रदान करते। यह बात आज भी सौ प्रतिशत सत्य एवं प्रमाणित है कि हम प्रार्थना द्वारा प्रभु से संपर्क में रह सकते हैं। प्रार्थना द्वारा प्रभु और हमारे बीच में संदेशों का आदान-प्रदान हो सकता है। प्रार्थना हमें अनुभव कराती है कि न प्रभु हमसे दूर है और न ही हम प्रभु से दूर हैं। क्या हम प्रार्थना द्वारा प्रभु से जुड़े रहने का प्रयास करते हैं?

📚 REFLECTION

The Gospel passage of today sounds like a farewell speech. When a person is departing, there are words of consolation, that we will keep in touch with each other, we will remain in contact with each other so that we do not forget each other. Jesus strengthened his disciples after his resurrection. He strengthened them in the matters that he had shared with them, he clarified the mysteries that he had already explained to them. But now he was to ascend to heaven, he was going to his Father, and so in order to remain in constant connection with him he gives us a formula and that formula is to ask the father in his name, ask anything and God would give it. Even though Jesus was departing from his disciples but through the prayer the disciples could always remain connected with Jesus. Whatever they would ask to father in the name of Jesus the father will grant them. Even today this is totally true and proved that through the prayer we can always remain in constant communion with the Lord. It is through the prayer that we can exchange messages with God. Prayer makes us to feel and experience that neither God is far from us nor we are far from God. Do we ever try to remain in constant communion with the Lord through prayer?

भजन स्तोत्र 46 (47) :२ में: 'प्रभु के लिए, दो शब्द हैं, परमप्रधान, भयानक है।' मैं आपको इस शब्द, 'amazing पर विचार करने के लिए आमंत्रित करता हूं। यह आपके दिल में क्या आह्वान करता है? क्या छवियां दिमाग में आती हैं? शब्दकोश के अनुसार, 'विस्मयकारी' एक विशेषण है जिसका अर्थ है, प्रेरक विस्मय। आपके जीवन में 'विस्मय' क्या प्रेरित करता है? 'भय' को एक ऐसी भावना के रूप में परिभाषित किया गया है जिसमें विभिन्न प्रकार के भय, श्रद्धा और आश्चर्य को अधिकार या पवित्र या उदात्त से प्रेरित किया गया है। क्या मैं सारी सृष्टि के परमेश्वर के सामने आश्चर्य और विस्मय में खड़ा हूं? जब मैं एक शानदार सूर्योदय या सूर्यास्त, या एक नवजात, या अच्छे स्वास्थ्य और सफलता को देखता हूं, तो क्या मैं उस पर विस्मय से खड़ा होता हूं जिसने मुझे बनाया है, और जो कुछ मेरे सामने है? जब मैं परमेश्वर के रहस्य पर विचार करता हूँ तो क्या मेरा हृदय विस्मय और आश्चर्य से भर जाता है? जीवन और प्रेम का रहस्य दिमाग के समझ से परे है लेकिन अनुभव योग्य है ?

📚 REFLECTION

In today’s gospel Jesus says: “Whatever you ask the Father in my name He will give you,” (v. 23). He is saying that our prayer should be addressed to the Father, but ‘in my name’, that is, in the presence of Jesus and through Him. In the Liturgical celebration this is the pattern of prayer. The Eucharistic prayer is invariably addressed to the Father, ‘through Him (Jesus), with Him and in Him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit.’ All our prayer has the pattern of the Trinity stamped on it.

God is both our Father and the Lord of glory. We can approach Him confidently in prayer because we are His dearly beloved children, but we must never forget that He is also the Sovereign of the universe.

God also knows where we are. And so let us place ourselves in His hands, concentrate on knowing His will for our lives and He will never forsake or forget us.

📚 मनन-चिंतन -4

बचपन से हमें ईश्वर से प्रार्थना करना सिखाया गया है, बाईबिल में भी येसु हम से कहते है मॉंगो और तुम्हे दिया जायेगा। प्रार्थना का कई प्रारूप होता है जैसे कि आराधना, स्तुति, मध्यस्थता, पश्चाताप इत्यादि। परंतु अक्सर हम अधिकतर प्रार्थना में ईश्वर से अपने लिए और अपने परिजनों के लिए कुछ न कुछ दुआ करते है प्रार्थना करते है।

आज के सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु कहते है कि तुम पिता से जो कुछ मॉंगोगे वह तुम्हें मेरे नाम पर वही प्रदान करेगा। प्रभु येसु अपने नाम का महत्व समझाते है और उस शक्तिशाली नाम को हमें एक हथियार के रूप में प्रदान करते है। पिता ईश्वर जो हम से प्रेम करता है और हमारे मॉंगने से पहले ही जानता है कि हमारे लिए क्या क्या की जरूरत है तो वह ईश्वर प्रभु येसु के नाम पर हमारी लिए अच्छी चिजों क्यों नहीं प्रदान करेगा।

प्रभु येसु हमें यह परामर्श देते है कि जब कभी हम प्रार्थना करें तो उनका नाम लेकर प्रार्थना करें। ईश्वर हमारे लिए सर्वोत्तम चाह रखता है। मत्ती 6ः8 इस बात को बहुत अच्छी तरह से हमारे सामने रखता है, ‘‘तुम्हारे मॉंगने से पहले ही तुम्हारा पिता जानता है कि तुम्हें किन-किन चीज़ों की जरूरत है।’’ हम बहुत सारी चीज़ों की ख्वाहीश रखते हैं; उनमें से कुछ तो हमारे स्वार्थ के लिए होती है और कुछ हमारी जरूरतों के लिए। जब हम प्रार्थना करते है तब हमें यह ध्यान रखनें की जरूरत है कि वह हम अपने ईच्छा की पूर्ती के लिए करते है या हम उस में ईश्वर की ईच्छा खोजते है।

हमारी प्रार्थना ईश्वर की ईच्छा और योजना के अनुसार होनी चाहिए। आईये हम प्रार्थनाओं को ईश्वर के समक्ष लोगों के लिए मध्यस्थता के रूप में अर्पित करें। आमेन!

📚 REFLECTION

From childhood onwards we were being taught to pray, in the bible too Jesus tells us Ask and you will receive. Prayer has got different formats like adoration, praise and worship, intersessions, penitentiary etc. But most often in the prayers we pray and ask for ourselves and for our relatives.

In today’s gospel Jesus says that whatever you ask in my name to the Father you will receive it. Lord Jesus explains the importance of his name and gives us that name as a powerful weapon for us. Father Almighty who loves us and knows what we need before our asking then why will not He will provide all good things in the name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus gives us the advice that when ever we pray we must pray in the name of Jesus. God seeks the best for us. Mt 6:8 very well expresses this in front of us, “Father knows what you need before you ask him.” We desire for many things; among them some are for selfish motives and some for our genuine needs. Whenever we pray we must keep in mind that whether we are praying for our will to be fulfilled or do we seek the will of God.

Our prayer should be based on God’s will and His plan. Let’s put forward the prayers and petitions of people in the form of intercessions. Amen!
