एलिजबेथ से कुवारी मरियम की भेन्ट - पर्व

📒 पहला पाठ : सफ़न्याह का ग्रन्थ 3:14-18
14) सियोन की पुत्री! आनन्द का गीत गा। इस्राएल! जयकार करो! येरुसालेम की पुत्री! सारे हृदय से आनन्द मना।
15) प्रभु ने तेरा दण्डादेश रद्द किया और तेरे शत्रुओं को भगा दिया है। प्रभु तेरे बीच इस्राएल का राजा है।
16) विपत्ति का डर तुझ से दूर हो गया है। उस दिन येरुसालेम से कहा जायेगा-’’सियोन! नहीं डरना, हिम्मत नहीं हारना। तेरा प्रभु-ईश्वर तेरे बीच है।
17) वह विजयी योद्धा है। वह तेरे कारण आनन्द मनायेगा, वह अपने प्रेम से तुझे नवजीवन प्रदान करेगा,
18) वह उत्सव के दिन की तरह तेरे कारण आनन्दविभोर हो जायेगा।’’ मैं तेरी विपत्ति को दूर करूँगा, मैं तेरा कलंक मिटा दूँगा।
अथवा - पहला पाठ : रोमियों 12:9-16
9) आप लोगों का प्रेम निष्कपट हो। आप बुराई से घृणा तथा भलाई से प्र्रेम करें।
10) आप सच्चे भाइयों की तरह एक दूसरे को सारे हृदय से प्यार करें। हर एक दूसरों को अपने से श्रेष्ठ माने।
11) आप लोग अथक परिश्रम तथा आध्यात्मिक उत्साह से प्रभु की सेवा करें।
12) आशा आप को आनन्दित बनाये रखे। आप संकट में धैर्य रखें तथा प्रार्थना में लगे रहें,
13) सन्तों की आवश्यकताओं के लिए चन्दा दिया करें और अतिथियों की सेवा करें।
14) अपने अत्याचारियों के लिए आशीर्वाद माँगें- हाँ, आशीर्वाद, न कि अभिशाप!
15) आनन्द मनाने वालों के साथ आनन्द मनायें, रोने वालों के साथ रोयें।
16) आपस में मेल-मिलाप का भाव बनाये रखें। घमण्डी न बनें, बल्कि दीन-दुःखियों से मिलते-जुलते रहें। अपने आप को बुद्धिमान् न समझें।
📙 सुसमाचार : सन्त लूकस का सुसमाचार 1:39-56
39) उन दिनों मरियम पहाड़ी प्रदेश में यूदा के एक नगर के लिए शीघ्रता से चल पड़ी।
40) उसने ज़करियस के घर में प्रवेश कर एलीज़बेथ का अभिवादन किया।
41) ज्यों ही एलीज़बेथ ने मरियम का अभिवादन सुना, बच्चा उसके गर्भ में उछल पड़ा और एलीज़बेथ पवित्र आत्मा से परिपूर्ण हो गयी।
42) वह ऊँचे स्वर से बोली उठी, ’’आप नारियों में धन्य हैं और धन्य है आपके गर्भ का फल!
43) मुझे यह सौभाग्य कैसे प्राप्त हुआ कि मेरे प्रभु की माता मेरे पास आयीं?
44) क्योंकि देखिए, ज्यों ही आपका प्रणाम मेरे कानों में पड़ा, बच्चा मेरे गर्भ में आनन्द के मारे उछल पड़ा।
45) और धन्य हैं आप, जिन्होंने यह विश्वास किया कि प्रभु ने आप से जो कहा, वह पूरा हो जायेगा!’’
46) तब मरियम बोल उठी, ’’मेरी आत्मा प्रभु का गुणगान करती है,
47) मेरा मन अपने मुक्तिदाता ईश्वर में आनन्द मनाता है;
48) क्योंकि उसने अपनी दीन दासी पर कृपादृष्टि की है। अब से सब पीढि़याँ मुझे धन्य कहेंगी;
49) क्योंकि सर्वशक्तिमान् ने मेरे लिए महान् कार्य किये हैं। पवित्र है उसका नाम!
50) उसकी कृपा उसके श्रद्धालु भक्तों पर पीढ़ी-दर-पीढ़ी बनी रहती है।
51) उसने अपना बाहुबल प्रदर्शित किया है, उसने घमण्डियों को तितर-बितर कर दिया है।
52) उसने शक्तिशालियों को उनके आसनों से गिरा दिया और दीनों को महान् बना दिया है।
53) उसने दरिंद्रों को सम्पन्न किया और धनियों को ख़ाली हाथ लौटा दिया है।
54) इब्राहीम और उनके वंश के प्रति अपनी चिरस्थायी दया को स्मरण कर,
55) उसने हमारे पूर्वजों के प्रति अपनी प्रतिज्ञा के अनुसार अपने दास इस्राएल की सुध ली है।’’
56) लगभग तीन महीने एलीज़बेथ के साथ रह कर मरियम अपने घर लौट गयी।
📚 मनन-चिंतन
आज हम माता मरियम की एलिज़ाबेथ से भेंट का पर्व मानते हैं। मरियम की भेंट उनकी विनम्रता और निस्वार्थता का एक उत्तम उदाहरण है। स्वयं के चमत्कारी गर्भधारण के बावजूद, वह जरूरत के समय में एलिजाबेथ की सहायता करने के लिए निकल पड़ती है। यह हमें याद दिलाता है कि हम खुद के स्वार्थों से परे देखें और सक्रिय रूप से अपनी चुनौतियों और आशीर्वादों के बीच भी दूसरों की सेवा और सहयोग करने के अवसरों की तलाश करते रहें। मरियम का अभिवादन एलिजाबेथ को, खुशी और पवित्र आत्मा की उपस्थिति से भर देता है। यह वास्तविक संबंध और प्रोत्साहन की शक्ति को प्रदर्शित करता है। मरियम की तरह, हमें अपने आस-पास के लोगों के लिए दयालुता, प्रतिज्ञान और प्रोत्साहन के शब्दों की पेशकश करने के लिए बुलाया गया है, जिससे पवित्र आत्मा दूसरों के उत्थान और प्रेरणा के लिए हमारी बातचीत और कार्यों के माध्यम से काम कर सके।
मरियम और एलिजाबेथ की मुलाकात ईश्वर की उपस्थिति की परिवर्तनकारी शक्ति पर भी प्रकाश डालती है। जैसे ही मरियम आती है और एलिजाबेथ को बधाई देती है, एलिजाबेथ के गर्भ में बच्चा (योहन बप्तिस्ता) खुशी से मारे उछल पड़ता है, और एलिजाबेथ पवित्र आत्मा से भर जाती है। यह हमें याद दिलाता है कि जब हम अपने जीवन और रिश्तों में ईश्वर की उपस्थिति का स्वागत करते हैं, तो हमारे अंदर आत्मिक परिवर्तन और आनंद का आभास होता है।
जैसा कि हम माँ मरियम की भेंट का पर्व मनाते हैं, आइए हम नम्रता, सेवा और ईश्वर की उपस्थिति के लिए खुलेपन की भावना को अपनाएं जिसका मरियम एक उत्तम उदाहरण है। हम मरियम की तरह, हम ईश्वर के प्रेम और अनुग्रह के पात्र बनें, दूसरों की सेवा करने, प्रोत्साहन प्रदान करने और पवित्र आत्मा के आनंद से प्रभावित गहरे संबंधों को विकसित करने के अवसरों की तलाश करते रहें।

📚 REFLECTION
Today we celebrate the Feast of Visitation. Mary’s visitation exemplifies humility and selflessness. Despite her own miraculous pregnancy, she travels to support Elizabeth in her time of need. This reminds us to look beyond ourselves and actively seek opportunities to serve and support others, even amidst our own challenges and blessings. Furthermore, Mary’s greeting to Elizabeth, filled with joy and the presence of the Holy Spirit, demonstrates the power of genuine connection and encouragement. Like Mary, we’re called to offer words of kindness, affirmation, and encouragement to those around us, allowing the Holy Spirit to work through our interactions to uplift and inspire others.
The encounter between Mary and Elizabeth also highlights the transformative power of God’s presence. As soon as Mary arrives and greets Elizabeth, the baby in Elizabeth’s womb (John the Baptist) leaps for joy, and Elizabeth is filled with the Holy Spirit. This reminds us that when we welcome God's presence into our lives and relationships, transformation and joy follow.
As we celebrate the feast of the Visitation of Mary, let’s embrace the spirit of humility, service, and openness to God’s presence that Mary exemplifies. May we, like Mary, be willing vessels of God’s love and grace, seeking opportunities to serve others, offer encouragement, and cultivate deeper connections infused with the joy of the Holy Spirit.

आज माता कलिसिया माता मरियम और एलिजाबेथ की भेंट का पर्व मनाती है। हम जानते हैं कि मई का यह पूरा महीना माता मरियम को समर्पित था, और इससे बढ़कर और अधिक सौभाग्य की क्या बात हो सकती है कि इस महीने का समापन भी माता मरियम के पर्व के साथ हो। जब स्वर्गदूत के द्वारा माता मरियम को पता चला कि एलिजाबेथ जो बांझ कहलाती थी वह भी गर्भवती है, और यह उसका छठा महीना है तो वे शीघ्र ही चल पड़ी। क्या एलिजाबेथ ने कहला भेजा था कि मुझे मदद की जरूरत है, इसलिए मेरी मदद के लिए आ जाओ। ऐसा क्या था कि माता मरियम बिना बुलाए ही मदद के लिए चल पड़ी। हम जानते हैं कि उन दिनों यात्रा करना कितना जोखिम भरा था। उस समय आज के जैसे आधुनिक और सुरक्षित वाहन नहीं होते थे। रास्ते भी कठिनाइयों से भरे, और चोर-डकैतों के आक्रमणों से आतंकित थे। पहाड़ी पर चढ़ना उतरना आसान नहीं था। लेकिन फिर भी माता मरियम सारी जोखिम उठाते हुए एलिजाबेथ की मदद करने के लिए चल पड़ती है। जब किसी को मदद की जरूरत हो, और न पूछे जाने बावजूद कोई जोखिम उठाकर उनकी मदद करने के लिए तैयार हो जाए, यह ईश्वरीय गुण नहीं तो और क्या है? माता मरियम के परोपकारी और उदार हृदय के कारण ही उन्हें ईश्वर की माता बनने का सौभाग्य मिला।

📚 REFLECTION
Today we celebrate the feast of the Visitation of Mother Mary and Elizabeth. The whole month of May was dedicated to the devotion to Mother Mary and what could be more auspicious than to conclude the month with a big feast of Mother Mary herself. When Mother Mary came to know about Elizabeth through the Angel, she hurried to help her as she was in the sixth month of her pregnancy. Did Elizabeth express that she needs help and so Mary should come and help her? Why did Mother Mary went to help Elizabeth even though she did not ask her help? Those days, it was very risky and dangerous to travel far distances. There were no safe and luxurious vehicles like today. The roads were difficult to travel and decoits and bandits waited in ambush to attack the travellers. There were climbing up and down with the donkey. After all the risk and danger, Mother Mary hurries to help Elizabeth, uninvited. It is divine quality to help others even though they have not asked for help. It becomes all the more great work when helping others is challenging and risky. It was the generous heart of Mother Mary that attracted God to make it His dwelling on earth.

मरियम की तरह, मैं प्रार्थना करता हूं: मेरी आत्मा प्रभु की गुणगाती करती है, और मेरी आत्मा मेरे उद्धारकर्ता ईश्वर में आनन्दित होती है, क्योंकि उसने मुझ पर कृपा की है, अपने दास की दीनता पर । निश्चय अब से पीढ़ी दर पीढ़ी मुझे धन्य कहेंगी; क्योंकि उस पराक्रमी ने मेरे लिये महान काम किए हैं, और उसका नाम पवित्र है। मरियम और एलिज़ाबेथ और उसके गर्भ में पल रहे बच्चे की तरह मैं भी पवित्र आत्मा से भरा हुआ हूँ और मेरा हृदय आनन्द से भर गया है। मैं जीवन और प्रेम के लिए, आनंद के उपहार के लिए और उसकी सभी भलाई के लिए प्रभु की स्तुति करता हूं! एलिज़ाबेथ और मरियम की तरह, मैं भी इन उपहारों को परिवार और दोस्तों के साथ आनंद मनाता हूं। मैं प्रार्थना करता हूं कि आज मैं जिस किसी से भी मुलाकात कर रहा हूं, उसे मैं आशीर्वाद दे सकूं। और ऐसा करने से वे जानेंगे कि पवित्र आत्मा और मसीह का प्रेम मुझ में वास करता है। हे परमेश्वर , आपके आशीर्वाद के लिए धन्यवाद।
31 मई, 2022, मंगल, धन्य कुंवारी मरियम की यात्रा
यह दावत, गर्भवती कुंवारी मरियम की यात्रा, और उसके चचेरे बहन गर्भवती एलिजाबेथ, की मिलन को याद दिलाती है। बुजुर्ग एलिजाबेथ की गर्भावस्था (लूका 1:36) के बारे में मरियम को सूचित किया गया था, जिससे मरियम अपने चचेरे बहन की मदद करने के लिए "जल्दबाजी में" (लूका 1:39) जाने के लिए प्रेरित हुई, जिससे उनकी काम में उसकी भागीदारी शुरू हो गई। इसके बाद जो हुआ वह विस्मयकारी है! मैरी के अभिवादन की आवाज पर, एलिजाबेथ के गर्भ में बच्चा ((cf। Lk 1:44) द्वारा जकर्याह (cf. Lk 1:15)) ख़ुशी से उछाल पड़ा । प्रकाश को साक्षी देने का मिशन। वास्तव में, जब डेविड ने पुराने नियम के सन्दूक के सामने खुशी के साथ नृत्य किया, तो जॉन, पुराने नियम के भविष्यद्वक्ताओं में से अंतिम, मैरी के सामने खुशी से उछल पड़ा, नई व्यवस्थान का सन्दूक जो दुनिया में परमेश्वर की उपस्थिति लाता है! फिर, " । . . . पवित्र आत्मा से भरा हुआ", एलिजाबेथ ने साहसपूर्वक मैरी को महिलाओं के बीच सबसे "धन्य" घोषित किया, परमेश्वर की माँ (cf। Lk 1:41-42) - पहली औपचारिक उपाधि , क्योंकि यह "थियोटोकोस" की थी!
इस पर्व पहली बार 1263 में हुवा , जब इसे फ्रांसिसकन द्वारा अपनाया गया था, इसे 1389 में पोप अर्बन VI द्वारा पूरे विश्व चर्च तक फैला दिया गया था।
चिंतन : "मेरी आत्मा प्रभु की महिमा करती है और मेरी आत्मा मेरे उद्धारकर्ता परमेश्वर में आनन्दित होती है!" (मरियम - लूक 1:46)

📚 REFLECTION
Today we are celebrating the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary to her cousin Elizabeth. Assuming that after Annunciation took place Mary left Nazareth and went to visit her cousin Elizabeth because her presence and much more the presence of Jesus in her womb, according to the will of God, was to be the source of very great graces to St. John, His Forerunner. St. Elizabeth was six-month pregnant and needed Mary’s attention, help, service and care since she was already in her old age. Mary’s mind was still attuned to helping others and putting into practice, even if it was not yet written, the words of St. Paul: “Your move must be sincere….Anticipate each other in showing respect….look on the needs of the saints as your own; be generous in offering hospitality.”
This feast was originally celebrated by the Franciscans, upon the advice of St. Bonaventure on July 2, since 1263. But this feast was not extended to the entire Church until 1389. It was transferred to May 31 as a product of logical thinking and putting this feast between the Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord (March 25) and the Birth of St. John the Baptist (June 24), so as to conform to the gospel.
This feast was officially instituted on November 9, 1389 when Pope Boniface IX decreed that the Feast of the Visitation should be extended to the entire Catholic Church in the hope that Jesus and His Mother would visit the Church and put an end to the Great Schism that was taking place.
As we reflect on Mary’s visitation to intercede for us with her Son Jesus, so that we might imitate her in our gratitude for the tremendous gift of God’s love, presence, loving providence, and call to communion with Him in this life and in the next.
We can recognize a missionary dimension in this Feast of Visitation, when we realize that gift of God in us; we feel a deep and overflowing joy. The next move is to share it with others. It is in this sharing that we experience more of the mystery of God’s goodness and we will automatically utter praises to the Lord while our hearts experience the fullness of joy.
Visitation is reminding us too of the corporal works of mercy that the Church calls to do like: visiting the sick, the prisoners and those that need us. This Visitation entails us to being hospitable and welcoming to those in need.
As we continue celebrating the Holy Mass, let us ask Jesus and His Mother to continue visiting the Catholic Church so that it may bloom as an aromatic flower for the glory of God.

एलिजबेथ से कुवारी मरियम की भेंट की घटना को आज सम्पूर्ण कलीसिया एक पर्व के रूप में मना रहीं है। यह मात्र दो व्यक्तियों का मिलन नहीं परंतु इसमें कई सारी महत्वपूर्ण चीज़े जुड़ी हुई है।
मरियम और एलिजबेथ यू तो कई बार मिली होंगी परंतु यह मिलन बाकि सभी मिलन से अलग और विशेष थी क्योंकि यह मिलन दोनो को एक ईश्वरीय अनुभव के बाद हुई थी तथा इस मिलन में केवल मरियम और एलिजबेथ ही नहीं परंतु येसु और योहन भी थे जो मरियम और एलिजबेथ के गर्भ में थे।
एलिजबेथ से कुवारी मरियम की भेंट पर एलिजबेथ को एक अनोखा अनुभव हुआ जहॉं पर मरियम का अभिवादन सुनकर बच्चा एलिजबेथ के गर्भ में आनंद के मारे उछल पड़ा और वह पवित्र आत्मा से परिपूर्ण हो गयी। जिसके बाद उसे पता चला कि मरियम अब एक साधारण स्त्री नहीं परंतु वह प्रभु की माता है। यह पूरी घटना पूरे वातावरण को ईश्वरीय आनंद और ईश्वरीय अनुभव से भर देती है इन्हीं सभी के कारण यह पर्व कलीसिया के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण पर्व है। मरियम पवित्र आत्मा से गर्भवती होने के बाद एलिजबेथ के पास जाती है और उन्हें येसु का एहसास तथा पवित्र आत्मा की प्राप्ति में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है।
यह पर्व हमें ईश्वरीयता से परिपूर्ण रहने के लिए प्रेरित करता है विशेष करके पवित्र आत्मा से परिपूर्ण रहने के लिए जिससे जिस किसी से भी हम मिले उन्हे येसु का अनुभव हो तथा पवित्र आत्मा से परिपूर्ण हो। आईये आज के दिन हम यहीं प्रार्थना करें कि हम हमेंशा पवित्र आत्मा से परिपूर्ण रहें तथा येसु को दूसरों को दे सकें। आमेन!

The event of Virgin Mary visiting Eilzabeth is being celebrated today as feast by the Universal Church. It is not merely the meeting of two persons but many important things are connected to this event.
Mary and Elizebeth might have met many times earlier but this visit or meeting was different and special from all that earlier meetings because this meeting happened after the divine encounter by both of them and in this meeting not only Mary and Elizabeth were there but also Jesus and John who were in the womb of Mary and Elizabeth.
Elizabeth had a unique experience in the visit of Mary where after hearing the greeting of Mary, the child leaped in her womb and she was filled with the Holy Spirit. After which she realized that Mary is now no more a simple woman but she is the mother of God. This whole event fills the whole atmosphere with divine joy and divine experience and because of all these; this feast is an important feast for the Catholic Church. After conceiving Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit Mary goes to visit Elizabeth and gives her the presence of Jesus and plays an important role in receiving the Holy Spirit.
This feast inspire us to always remain filled with the godliness specially filled with the Holy Spirit so that whom so ever we may meet they may experience Jesus and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Come let’s pray today that we may always be filled with the Holy Spirit and can give Jesus to others. Amen!
