पास्का का छठा सप्ताह - बृहस्पतिवार

📕पहला पाठ

प्रेरित-चरित 18:1-8

"पौलुस उनके यहाँ रहने तथा काम करने लगा। वह प्रत्येक विश्राम-दिवस सभागृह में बोलता था।”

पौलुस आथेंस छोड़ कर कुरिंथ आया, जहाँ आक्विला नामक यहूदी से उसकी भेंट हुई। आक्विला का जन्म पोंतुस में हुआ था। वह अपनी पत्नी प्रिसिल्ला के साथ इटली से आया था, क्योंकि क्लौदियुस ने यह आदेश निकाला था कि सब यहूदी रोम से निकल जायें। पौलुस उन से मिलने गया और उनके यहाँ रहने तथा काम करने लगा; क्योंकि वह एक ही व्यवसाय करता था - वे तम्बू बनाने वाले थे। पौलुस प्रत्येक विश्राम-दिवस को सभागृह में बोलता और यहूदियों तथा युनानियों को समझाने का प्रयत्न करता था। जब सीलस और तिमथी मकेदूनिया से पहुँचे, तो पौलुस वचन के प्रचार के लिए अपना पूरा समय देने लगा और यहूदियों को इसका प्रमाण देता रहा कि येसु ही मसीह हैं। किन्तु जब वे लोग पौलुस का विरोध और अपमान करने लगे, तो उसने अपने वस्त्र फाड़ कर उन से यह कहा, "तुम्हारा रक्त तुम्हारे सिर पड़े। मेरा अन्तःकरण शुद्ध है। मैं अब से गैरयहूदियों के पास जाऊँगा।” वह उन्हें छोड़ कर चला गया और तितियुस युस्तुस नामक ईश्वर-भक्त के यहाँ आया, जिसका घर सभागृह से लगा हुआ था। सभागृह के अध्यक्ष क्रिस्पुस ने अपने सारे परिवार के साथ प्रभु में विश्वास किया। बहुत-से कुरिंथी भी पौलुस की बातें सुन कर विश्वास करते और बपतिस्मा ग्रहण करते थे।

प्रभु की वाणी।

📖भजन : स्तोत्र 97:1-4

अनुवाक्य : प्रभु ने सभी राष्ट्रों के लिए अपना मुक्ति-विधान प्रकट किया है। (अथवा अल्लेलूया!)

1. प्रभु के आदर में नया गीत गाओ; क्योंकि उसने अपूर्व कार्य किये हैं। उसके दाहिने हाथ और उसकी पवित्र भुजा ने हमारा उद्धार किया है।

2. प्रभु ने अपना मुक्ति-विधान प्रकट किया और सभी राष्ट्रों को अपना न्याय दिखाया है उसने अपनी प्रतिज्ञा का ध्यान रख कर इस्राएल के घराने की सुध ली है।

3. पृथ्वी के कोने-कोने में हमारे ईश्वर का मुक्ति-विधान प्रकट हुआ है। समस्त पृथ्वी आनन्द मनाये और ईश्वर की स्तुति करे।

📒जयघोष

अल्लेलूया! प्रभु कहते हैं, "मैं तुम लोगों को अनाथ छोड़ कर नहीं जाऊँगा, मैं तुम्हारे पास आऊँगा और तुम आनन्द मनाओगे।” अल्लेलूया!

📙सुसमाचार

योहन के अनुसार पवित्र सुसमाचार 16:16-20

"तुम शोक करोगे, किन्तु तुम्हारा शोक आनन्द बन जायेगा।”

येसु ने अपने शिष्यों से यह कहा, "थोड़े ही समय बाद तुम लोग मुझे नहीं देखोगे और फिर थोड़े ही समय बाद मुझे देखोगे"। इस पर उनके कुछ शिष्य आपस में यह कहने लगे, "वह हम से यह क्या कहते हैं- 'थोड़े ही समय बाद तुम मुझे नहीं देखोगे और फिर थोड़े ही समय बाद तुम मुझे देखोगे', और 'क्योंकि मैं पिता के पास जा रहा हूँ'? “ इसलिए उन्होंने कहा, "वह जो 'थोड़ा समय' कहते हैं, इसका अर्थ क्या है? हम उनकी बात नहीं समझ पा रहे हैं।” येसु ने, यह जान कर कि वे मुझ से प्रश्न पूछना चाहते हैं, उन से कहा, "तुम आपस में मेरे इस कथन के अर्थ पर विचार-विमर्श कर रहे हो कि 'थोड़े ही समय बाद तुम मुझे नहीं देखोगे और फिर थोड़े ही समय बाद मुझे देखोगे'। मैं तुम लोगों से कहे देता हूँ - तुम रोओगे और विलाप करोगे, परन्तु संसार आनन्द मनायेगा। तुम शोक करोगे, किन्तु तुम्हारा शोक आनन्द बन जायेगा।”

📚 मनन-चिंतन

आज का सुसमाचार न केवल प्रभु के शिष्यों को निरुत्तर कर देता है, बल्कि हमें भी आश्चर्य में डाल सकता है। प्रभु येसु कहते हैं कि “थोड़े ही समय बाद तुम लोग मुझे नहीं देखोगे और फिर थोड़े ही समय बाद मुझे देखोगे।” आखिर इन शब्दों का क्या अर्थ है, प्रभु इन शब्दों के द्वारा अपने शिष्यों से क्या कहना चाहते हैं? क्या इसका तात्पर्य प्रभु की मृत्यु के बाद तीन दिन से है, या फिर इसका अर्थ पुनरुत्थान के बाद अपने पिता के पास जाने के बाद आत्मा के आने तक का समय है? या फिर इसका तात्पर्य उनके पुनः इस दुनिया का न्याय करने के संसार के अंत में आने से है? प्रभु येसु संकेत देते हैं कि “तुम रोओगे लेकिन संसार आनंद मनाएगा, तुम शोक मनाओगे लेकिन तुम्हारा शोक आनंद में बदल जाएगा।” प्रभु को प्यार करने वाले लोग कब रोते या शोक मनाते हैं? जब वे प्रभु से दूर हो जाते हैं, जब प्रभु के साथ उनका रिश्ता खतरे में पड़ जाता है। यानि कि जब पाप का पर्दा हमारी आँखों पर पड़ जाता है, तो हम ईश्वर को नहीं देख पाते हैं, हमारी अंतरात्मा शोक मनाती है, दुखी होती है, लेकिन जब हम पश्चाताप के द्वारा ईश्वर से मेल-मिलाप कर लेते हैं तो उन्हें फिर महसूस करने लगते हैं। हमारा मन आनंद मनाता है।

📚 REFLECTION

The gospel today not only leaves the disciples of Jesus confused, but also it can surprise us. Jesus says, “a little while after you will not see me and a little while after you will see me.” What do these words mean ? What does Jesus want to say to his disciples through these words? Does it mean that after his death three days they will not see him Or does it mean the time that after resurrection and going back to the father till the spirit comes ? Or does it mean the time when Jesus will come again to judge the world at the end? Jesus himself gives us a sign to understand these words, he says “you will mourn but the world will rejoice , you will be filled with sorrow but your sorrow will change into rejoicing.” When do the people who love God feel sorrow or mourn, certainly when they are away from God,, when their relationship with God is in danger. When sin blocks our sight then we cannot see God for a little while And our spirit within us mourns, it becomes sad. When we repent and reconcile with God and again start feeling him and loving him in our life then our heart rejoices.

मुझे आश्चर्य होता है कि प्रेरितों के लिए यीशु के स्वर्गारोहण को देखना कैसा था। सुसमाचार इस प्रकार संकेत देता है: 'और उन्होंने उसकी पूजा की और बहुत खुशी के साथ येरुसलेम लौट आए और वे लगातार मंदिर में परमेश्वर की स्तुति करते थे'। यह भी यीशु द्वारा अपने स्वर्गारोहण से पहले दिया गया वादा था, जिसने शिष्यों के लिए गहरा विश्वास और आश्वासन प्रदान किया: 'जब पवित्र आत्मा तुम पर आएगा तब तुम शक्ति प्राप्त करोगे।' संत लुकास हमें बताता है कि यीशु उन्हें आशीर्वाद दे रहा था जैसे जैसे वह स्वर्गरोहित हो रहे थे । पवित्र आत्मा की शक्ति, मसीह का आशीर्वाद हमें आगे बढ़ाए। पृथ्वी पर परमेश्वर के राज्य की घोषणा करने में, मसीह के मिशन को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए ही हमें शिष्य बनने के लिए बुलाया गया है। जैसा कि मसीह हमें आशीर्वाद देता है, उसी प्रकार हम सभी को दूसरों के लिए एक आशीर्वाद बन जाना हैं।

📚 REFLECTION

The statement of Jesus ‘a little while,’ mikron in Greek, is used seven times in this short passage. Something is about to happen soon, but they don’t know what. This is the way to be scared. They can tell that It has something to do with death: the word here for ‘mourn’ is a word that is used for grief at a death.

When Jesus is saying, ‘a little while’, He is referring to His impending death. He predicts that His death makes His followers experience great sorrow but this delights all those who have joined forces against Him.

However, that situation is soon to be reversed by the Resurrection. For then, the disciples will experience a deep and abiding joy, whereas the soldiers guarding the tomb will be terrified (Mt 28:4) and the chief priests will be compelled to buy the soldiers’ silence (Mt 28:11-15). It is a reversal situation.

Our Christian life is somewhat patterned after what Jesus says, ‘a little while,’ that is, as a cycle of disappearances and reappearances endlessly repeated.

Like for example, when we pray, there are times that Jesus is not felt as real or as present in our hearts when we want to experience intimacy with Him. This is what we call desolation in prayer. But if we persevere in prayer and if we continue living our Christian life as best we can, invariably there comes a time when the presence of Jesus is again felt. And this is what we called consolation in prayer. These alternating desolations and consolations are the warp and woof forming the very fabric of our Christian life. They are meant to make us constantly grow in faith and trust. After a while however, faith becomes so strong that Jesus is somehow always “seen” and not felt by a kind of special eyesight of the soul. Then the Christian’s joy is practically permanent.

📚 मनन-चिंतन -2

प्रभु येसु ने अपने आर्शीवचन में हम सभी को कई सांत्वना भरे वचन दिये है उनमें से एक वचन है, ‘‘धन्य हैं वे, जो शोक करते हैं, उन्हें सान्त्वना मिलेगी’’ (मत्ती 5ः5)। प्रभु येसु का यह वचन हम सब के लिए एक आशावान वचन है जो हम सभी को सांत्वना प्रदान करता है। प्रभु हम सभी से कहना चाहते है कि जो प्रभु और प्रभु के राज्य के लिए शोक मनाता है उसे आगे चलकर सांत्वना प्राप्त होगी।

आज के सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु अपने विषय में बताते है कि वे किस प्रकार थोड़े समय के लिए शिष्यों को दिखाई नहीं देंगे और फिर थोड़े समय बाद वे दिखाई देंगे। आगे चल कर येसु कहते है कि तुम शोक करोगे किन्तु तुम्हारा शोक आनन्द बन जायेगा। हमारा प्रभु शोक को आनन्द में बदलने वाला प्रभु है।

हमारे जीवन में कई ऐसे क्षण आते है जो हमें शोक से भर देते है-जैसे जब हमारे किसी परिजन की मृत्यु होती है तो हम शोक से भर जाते है; जब हम प्रभु के मार्ग पर चलने की वजह से हम पर दुख, संकट, अत्याचार या अपमान किया जाता है तो हमारा ह्दय शोक से भर जाता है; जब हम दुष्टों को फलते फूलते देखते है तथा हमारे चारों ओर दुख, अंधेरे के बादल को घिरा हुआ पाते है तथा हमें कोई जवाब नहीं मिलता है तो हम शोक से भर जाते है। प्रभु येसु हम से कहते है कि तुम्हारा शोक आनन्द में बदल जायेगा, जिस प्रकार शिष्य प्रभु येसु के कू्रस मरण के बाद शोक में डूब गये थे परंतु पुनरुत्थान के बाद उनका शोक आनन्द में बदल गया; ठीक उसी प्रकार प्रभु हमारे शोक के बादल को आनन्द की किरणों से दूर कर देंगे। आईये हम प्रार्थना करें इस संसार में जो भी लोग शोक में डूबे हुए है वे सब प्रभु के पास आये जिससे उनका शोक आनन्द में बदल जाये। आमेन!

📚 REFLECTION

Lord Jesus has given many comforting words in his beatitudes, among them one is, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” (Mt 5:4). These words of Lord Jesus are words of hope for us which gives comfort. Lord wants to tell us that those who mourn for the Lord and for the Lord’s Kingdom they will be comforted in future.

In today’s Gospel Jesus speaks about himself that for a little while the disciples will no longer see him and after a little while they will see him. He tells further that you will weep and mourn, but your pain will turn into joy. Our Lord is the Lord who turns mourning into joy.

In our lives many moments come when we are filled with mourning- for instances when some relatives die in the family we are filled of mourning; when pain, problems, persecution and insults are executed on us for being walking in the way of the Lord then our hearts are filled with mourning; when we see the wicked prospering and finding oneself surrounded by clouds of sorrow and darkness and when we doesn’t receive any answer then we are filled with grief or mourning. Lord Jesus tells us that your mourning will turn into joy, as the disciples were in grief when Jesus died on the cross but after the resurrection their mourning turned into joy; similarly Lord will remove the cloud of mourning through the rays of Joy. Let’s pray that those who are in grief in this world may come to Jesus so that their grief may turn to Joy. Amen!
